"PoSH Compliances" is one of the kind initiative to enable safe, secure and inclusive workplace in organizations and businesses. We conduct awareness sessions and facilitate in establishing ICC, and in complying with the applicable laws.
The team is working on our commitment towards prevention and redressal of sexual harassment at workplaces for the past 4 years at Coimbatore and its surrounding areas and has worked with reputed Organizations in complying with the laws.
Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 has been introduced with an objective to prevent, prohibit and address the grievances relating to sexual harassment relating to any workplace. The Act mandates all organizations and institutions with more than 10 employees and businesses in unorganized structure to comply with the following mandates in brief,
Organize awareness campaigns to the employees of the Organization; Frame and publish Anti Sexual Harassment policy/ Code of Conduct in the organization
Constitute Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) with employees of the organization and an external independent member to address the complaint relating to sexual harassment at workplace.
File an annual report to the officer in charge (Social Welfare Department in Coimbatore) reporting the number of complaints filed, actions taken etc., at the end of each year
Failing which organizations are liable to pay a penalty of Rs. 50,000 and cancellation of license.
